Overcoming trauma is always challenging, and it manifests in many different ways. Trauma is an event or experience that can trigger negative mental states - making us feel numb, agitated, sorrowful, aggressive, frustrated, anxious, apprehensive and much more.
Trauma can occupy much of your time, and healing has no set timeframe - you heal when you heal. Sometimes we experience repeated trauma which can extend our healing journey further.
While we cannot predict when trauma will occur or its intensity, we can understand our triggers and responses. This understanding is key to our healing journey.
